Johnathon Nunn and his wife, Jessica, reside in Munfordville with their 6 children. Johnathon began his work in the funeral home business as a high school student in 2003, and he graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Services in 2006. He has worked in funeral homes or embalming /cremation call centers throughout Kentucky ever since. Johnathon is committed to serving those who have lost their loved ones, while showing compassion and love in everything he does. In 2022, Johnathon joined the staff at Brooks Funeral Home, and in January 2023, he and his wife purchased the funeral home where they strive to continue the heritage of caring that Hart County has grown to count on. He is currently a deputy coroner in Hart County.
Jessica Nunn is working on her apprenticeship and schooling to become a dually licensed embalmer and funeral director. At this moment, she teaches high school English at Hart County High School, where she enjoys getting to inspire her students to become the best version of themselves. She has 15 years of experience within schools. Jessica hopes to continue the tradition of helping those that have lost their loved ones in every way possible with sincereity and love.
Gary has been a licensed funeral director since 2000.
Sue has been licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1987.
Doug is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is a 1979 graduate of the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science where he received the prestigious Bill Pierce Award. This award is given in recognition to the student who best represents the funeral profession. He has served as the Hart County Coroner. He is currently a board member of the Kentucky Independent Funeral Directors Association and a member of the National Funeral Directors Association. He is a member of the Munfordville Lions Club. He has proudly served the families of Hart County since 1988.
Phyllis has been an asset to Brooks Funeral Home's support staff since 2013.
Myra worked in healthcare for 35+ years before retiring and coming to us as an administrative assistant.
