William "Penny" Walters

William Thomas (Penny) Walters went to be with his Lord on March 25th, 2013 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed sharing these passions with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Jad and Mildred Bryant Walters of Elizabethtown and a sister Linda Duckworth of Elizabethtown. He is survived by his loving wife Dianna, a son David and his wife Corissa Walters of Rineyville. A step daughter Ruthann Tucker and husband Jamie and a stepson Russell Tucker and his wife Tiffany all of Elizabethtown KY. Three Brothers: Howard Walters and his wife Geogia of Elizabethtown KY; Roger Walters and his wife Pam of Bonnieville, KY; John Walters and his wife Cheryl of Frankfort, KY. Two sisters: Nettie Jenkins and her husband Tom and Lisa Burnett and her late husband Bradley both of Elizabehtown, KY. Twelve grandchildren: Austin, Kelsey, Emily, Kaitlin, Will, Ahren, Ashton, T.J., Kyler, McKenzie, Katelyn, Taylor as well as a granddaughter Jade, to be born in June and two granddaughters soon to join the family. Several nieces and nephews and his loving and faithful beagle, Runt. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM CT, Wednesday, March 27, 2013. and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT, Thursday March 28, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM CT, Thursday, March 28, 2013, Bro. Glenn Routt officiating. Interment will be at Memory Park Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY
