William L. Murphy

William L. Murphy, age 89, formerly of Munfordville, KY, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Rivers Edge Nursing and Rehab in Prospect, KY. He was retired from General Electric and a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church. He was the son of the late James Harvey Hester Murphy and the late Lonie May Tennyson Murphy and husband of the late Edith Murphy. He was also preceded in death by a brother James Murphy.

He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Murphy, Elizabethtown, KY; two sons, Darrell Murphy (Linda), La Grange, KY, Jeff Murphy (Cheryl), Bowling Green, KY; one sister, Barbara Meredith, Bee Spring, KY; one brother, Gerald Murphy (Brenda), Lebanon Junction, KY; three grandchildren, Derick Murphy, Joshua Murphy, Andrew Kerrick; ten great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT, Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM CT, Thursday, November 11, 2021, Bro. Darrell Murphy officiating.

Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
