William "Randy" Long

William "Randy" Long, age 59, of Upton, KY died Friday, September 15, 2006, at approximately 3:30 PM EDT near his residence in Upton, KY. He was a retired cabinet and furniture maker. The Army veteran was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. He was the son of the late William Long and Gertrude (Hornback) Long. He is also survived by his wife Lynn Long of Upton, KY; Two Sons: Thomas Bryant of Chicago, IL and William Long of Florida; One Sister: Bertha Womack of Upton, KY;Two Brothers: Charles Long of Upton, KY and Eugene Ray Long of Temple, GA; Four granddaughters and one grandson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Melvin Auberry. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY. There will be no visitation as the family chose cremation. A memorial service will be conducted at Upton Baptist Church at 11:00 AM CDT Saturday, September 23, 2006, with Bro. John Smith officiating.
