William Joseph "Bill" Toler

William Joseph "Bill" Toler, age 85 of Georgetown, IN formerly of Munfordville, KY passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 surrounded by his family. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing and all these things he enjoyed doing with his wife, Frances. He was a retired Pipefitter and Welder for the Local 502 Pipefitters. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He never met a stranger and welcomed a conversation with any and everyone he came in contact with. 

He is the son of the late Fred P. Toler and the late Eula Deaton Toler. 

He is preceded in death by four sisters, Janet Hood, Lillie Terry, Ruth Ann Schroeder, and Vickie Toler; two brothers, James Toler and Ermal A. Toler.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Frances McPheeters Toler; three daughters, Holly Litkenhous (Robert), Floyd Knobs, IN, Michelle Toler Trent (Milton), Lanesville, IN, and Monica Toler Gain (Roger), Indianapolis, IN; one step-daughter, Elizabeth A. Badger (Mickey), Jackson, TN; one step-son, James D. Williams, Terre Haute, IN; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Michael Toler, New Albany, IN; four sisters, Debbie Stone, Borden, IN, Jackie Woods, New Albany, IN, Brenda Clinton, Pinellas Park, FL, and Freida Brackett, Richmond, TX; lots of nieces, nephews, and other extended familly also survive. 

Cremation has been chosen and no services are scheduled at this time. Brooks Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
