William C. "Chester" Hester

William C. "Chester" Hester, age 85, of Munfordville, KY passed away at 1:30 AM CDT Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. The Hart county native was born on June 21, 1921. He was a retired truckdriver, a veteran of the US Army during World War II and a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Byrd Hester and the late Lilian (Hardy) Hester. He is survived by his wife Shirley (Webb) Hester of Munfordville, KY; Two Step-Sons: David Crain of Elizabethtown, KY; & Donald Phelps (Pat) of Munfordville, KY. He is survived by two grandchildren: David Austin Crain and Temisha Crain and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son: William Earl Hester and a step-son: Charles Crain. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday, May 22, 2007 and after 9:00 AM Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 12:00 PM CDT Wednesday, May 23, 2007 with Bro. Randall Kessinger officiating. Interment will be at Dorsey Chapel Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
