Willard Glass

Willard Glass, age 76, of Cub Run, KY passed away at 12:05 PM CST Saturday, December 16, 2006, at his residence in Cub Run, KY. The Edmonson County native was born on June 2, 1930. He was a farmer and licensed electrician and a member of Cherry Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He served as Deacon for over 20 years. He and his wife Frances enjoyed making white oak baskets. He was the son of the late Joe Glass and the late Haley (Glass) McDowell. He is also survived by his wife Frances Hawkins Glass of Cub Run, KY; One Sister: June Rowe (Donnie) of Louisville, KY; Two Brothers: Arlene Glass of Franklin, IN; & Junior McDowell (Debbie) of Munfordville, KY; Three Step-Sisters: Annie Sedlar of Floyds Knob, IN; Ora Meredith of Cub Run, KY; & Barbara Lotze of Louisville, KY; Two Step-Brothers: Ova McDowell of Clarksville, IN; & Eugene McDowell of Cub Run, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST Monday, December 18, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM CST Tuesday, December 19, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM CST Wednesday, December 20, 2006. Funeral service will be at Cherry Springs Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CST Wednesday, December 20, 2006 with Bro. Freddie Vertress and Bro. Vernon Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Cherry Springs Cemetery in Cub Run, KY.
