Wanda Jane Maxey

Wanda Jane Maxey, age 65, of Hardyville, KY, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. She was formerly employed by Ken-Dec and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Roy Herdon and Alberta Hayes of Nicholasville, KY. She is also survived by her husband: Henry Maxey, Horse Cave, KY; three daughters: Amy Brown, Hardyville, KY, Felicia Reed, Glasgow, KY, Michelle Carter, Glasgow, KY; mother: Alberta Hayes, Nicholasville, KY; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; special friends: Oneda Travis, Hardyville, KY, Paulette Bush, Horse Cave, KY. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Friday, January 15, 2010 and from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday, January 16, 2010. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 16, 2010 with Rev. Rowletts officiating.
