Walter "Louis" Druin, age 72, of Horse Cave, KY passed away at 7:42 PM CT Thursday, June 26, 2008, at his residence in Horse Cave, KY. The Taylor County native was born March 20, 1936. He was employed by Waste Managment of Kentucky as a truck driver and was a member of Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Horse Cave. Mr. Druin was a former Shriner, & a 32nd Degree Mason with the Blue Lodge. He was the son of the late German Druin and the late Beulah (Wood) Druin. He is survived by his wife Linda (Johnson) Druin; Five Daughters: Rhonda Davenport (Tony) of Bardstown, KY; Randi Cooksey (Freddie) of Austin, TX; Gala Capshaw of Horse Cave, KY; Lisa Burden & Laura Gex (Daniel) all of Louisville, KY; Five Sons: Rick Druin (Mary Jo) of Taylorsville, KY; Rocky Druin (Tammy) of Brooks, KY; Rodney Druin (Christa) of Louisville, KY; Travis Druin of Horse Cave, KY; & Steve Frazier of Louisville, KY; Three Sisters-In-Law: Doris Dunford of Shepherdsville, KY; Patricia Fancher of Monroe, KY; & Debbie Perry of Glasgow, KY; Three Brothers-In-Law: Isaac Gibson of Shepherdsville, KY; Ray Johnson of Fairdale, KY; & Roger Johnson of Brownsville, KY. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Shelby Druin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Druin Family in care of Brooks Funeral Home. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY. The family will receive friends at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT Friday, June 27, 2008 and from 9:00 AM to time of service Saturday, June 28, 2008. Funeral service will be at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church at 1:00 PM CT Saturday, June 28, 2008 with Bro. Bobby Neal & Bro. Marty Tucker officiating. Interment will be at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church Cemetery in Horse Cave, KY.
