Vivian Mabe Bowman

Vivian Mabe Bowman, age 78, of Munfordville, KY, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. She held several clerical postitions with various businesses in Munfordville and was a member of Munfordville Presbyterian Church and Munfordville Eastern Star Lodge #322. She was the daughter of the late Bowers Mabe and the late Anna Wilson Mabe and wife of the late John Derritte Bowman. She is survived by one brother: Cleyon Mabe (Brenda), Sonora, KY. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant sister and a brother. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM CT until 8:00 PM CT on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 and from 9:00 AM CT until time of services. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM CT, Thursday, January 8, 2009, Rev. Jack Henshaw officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
