Virgil Best "Bubby/Virg" Bradley, age 81, of Horse Cave, KY passed away at 8:57 AM CDT Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. The Hart County native was born on April 22, 1926. He was a retired farmer, employee with Mammoth Cave YCC, & Bizzack Construction Company. Mr. Bradley was a member of Woodsonville Baptist Church where he served as Deacon for over 40 years, head trustee for Woodsonville Church & Cemetery. He was the son of the late Willie Bradley and the late Lula (Best) Bradley. He is survived by his Daughter: Mary Bradley of Frankfort, KY; Two Sisters: Eva Dyton-Glover of Trenton, N.J. & Sarah Green of Columbus, OH; One Brother: James A. Bradley of Munfordville, KY. He is survived by a grandson: Bradley Andrew Childs of Frankfort, KY and a Special Friend: Freida Embree of Cave City, KY; & Several very special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Liberty District Sunday School Convention Scholarship Fund. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two wives: Virginia Mansfield Bradley & Mary Maxey Bradley; two brothers: Willie & Shirley Bradley. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Friday, July 6, 2007 and at Woodsonville Baptist Church from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, July 7, 2007. Funeral service will be at the church at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 7, 2007 with Rev. K. T. Ford and Rev. Ronnie Bryant officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens in Munfordville, KY.
