Veora Agnes White, age 81, of Horse Cave, KY passed away at 11:53 PM CDT Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at her residence. The Hart County native was born on April 22, 1926. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Jordan and the late Lovie (Barbour) Jordan.
She is survived by her husband William "Bill" White of Horse Cave, KY; Five Daughters: Hazel J. Dice (John) of Louisville, KY; Mary Mills-Turner (Mike) of Munfordville, KY; Paulette Bald (Johnnie) of Louisville, KY; Veora Kathern Coats (Jeff) of Cave City, KY; & Carrie Elaine White of South Lyon, MI; Daughter-In-Law: Joyce White of Munfordville, KY; Two Sisters: Dovie Howard & Pauline Greer of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Virginia Ann & Nellie V. White; a son: William Alford White; a grandson: Patrick Mills, five sisters and three brothers.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Friday, May 25, 2007 and after 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 26, 2007. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM CDT Saturday, May 26, 2007 with Rev. Douglas Barbour and Rev. William Curle officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Gilboa Cemetery in Canmer, KY.
