Veola M. Jaggers

Veola M. Jaggers, age 87, of Canmer, KY, passed away at 9:42 PM CT Thursday, August 28, 2008, at Medco Center in Bowling Green. The Green County native was born on January 10, 1921. She was formerly employed by Sunshine Day Care in Horse Cave as a caretaker and was a member of the Church In Canmer. She was the daughter of the late Roy Houk and the late Nellie (Atwell) Houk. She was married to the late Richard Jaggers. She is survived by Three Daughters: Ramona Edwards, Louisville, KY; Linda Bennett & Brenda Jaggers both of Bowling Green, KY; Two Sons: Larry Jaggers (Patty) & Mark Jaggers all of Canmer, KY; Nephew: Willie Mason, Louisville, KY; Two Sisters-In-Law: Ruth Houk, Louisville, KY & Fay Houk, Horse Cave, KY. She is also surived by Five Grand Children & Four Great-Grand Children. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT, Saturday, August 30, 2008 and from 10:00 AM to time of service Sunday, August 31, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM CT, Sunday, August 31, 2008, with Bro. William Earl Hedgepeth officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
