Vanessa June (Glass) McCorkle

Vanessa June McCorkle, age 53 of Hardyville, KY, passed away, Wednesday, May 25, 2023 at the Medical Center Caverna. She attended services at Leitchfield Crossing Baptist Church. She was an LPN, the director at the Old Home Place Adult Daycare, and a caregiver in home health. She was a wonderful, loving, caring “Grammie”.

She is the daughter of Rosetta Glass and the late Leroy Glass.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Rodney McCorkle.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her three daughters, Radina Wease and her husband Josh of Canmer, KY, Brittany Hughes and her husband Michael of Horse Cave,KY, and Katelyn Wright of Columbia, KY; one son, Micah Hiser (Lora McCorkle) of Munfordville, KY; seven grandchildren, Creeden, Harlie, Jameson, Autumn, Maddie, Amelia, and Holden; two cousins that were like brothers, Jeremy Pippin and Larry Glass.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM- 8:00 PM CT on Monday, May 29, 2023 and again from 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM CT on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CT on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Benningfield officiating. Burial will follow in Houk Cemetery.
