Tommy Reed Dennis

Tommy Reed Dennis, age 67, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. He was retired from Hart County Health Care and was a member of Pleasant View United Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late Joe Dennis and Pearline Sanders Dennis of Munfordville, KY. He was the husband of the late June Marie Huff Dennis and the late Alberta Marie Pierce Dennis.

Besides his mother he is survived by seven children, Rose Hill, Glasgow, KY, Grace Dunnigan, Leroy "Junior" Huff, Steve Huff, Carl Lewis all of Horse Cave, KY, Tony Huff, Munfordville, KY, Marshall Lewis, Leitchfield, KY; two God children, Matt Glass, Mark Glass both of Monroe, KY; six sisters, Faye Skaggs and husband Barry, Chalybeate, KY, Brenda Pannell and husband Billy, Cathy Goldsmith, Linda Rucker and husband Phillip, Patsy Fulkerson and husband Mike, Jeanie Rucker and husband Ricky all of Munfordville, KY; three brothers, Ricky Dennis, David Dennis and wife Anita both of Munfordville, Michael Dennis and wife Pam, Horse Cave, KY; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Sandy Wilson; brother-in-law, Junior "Bud" Goldsmith; great nephew, Cody Avery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, September 16, 2013 at Pleasant View United Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, September 16, 2013 at Pleasant View United Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Sanders officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
