Thomas E. "Tom-Cat" Shewmaker

Thomas E. "Tom-Cat" Shewmaker, age 61, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. He was a member of the Broadford Missionary Baptist Church and a driver for TS Trucking. He loved to fish, hunt and play guitar. He was a master carpenter and metal fabricator.

He was the son of the late Wlliam Shewmaker and Martha Blain Shewmaker of Cub Run, KY. Besides his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Christy Grisaffi, Munfordville, KY; two grandchildren, Tyler Zaepfel, Gabby Zaepfel; three sisters, Malinda Childress, Cub Run, KY, Rosemary Ashby and her husband Kenny, Murfreesboro, TN, Lisa Johnson and her husband Cliff, Cub Run, KY; two brothers, Bill Shewmaker and his wife Marsha, Cub Run, KY, Tim Shewmaker and his wife Lynn, Cub Run, KY.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Sunday, March 20, 2022 and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon CT, Monday, March 21, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon CT, Monday, March 21, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Gaddie officiating. Interment will be at Cub Run Cemetery, Cub Run, KY.
