Theodore W. Waller

Theodore W. Waller, age 86 of Bonnieville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born December 4, 1937 in Hart County as the fourth child of the late Fred H. Waller and Gennetta Dixon Waller. He was an employee of over 30 years at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

In his younger years he enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, and playing with his siblings over the hills of Hart County. His childhood education began in Munfordville at Woodsonville Elementary School. After his family relocated to Bonnieville, he later transfered to Carter Dowling where he completed his education. He professed his hope in Christ at an early age where he joined Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

He was joined in holy matrimony Septemeber 10, 1969 to Mary L. Waller who preceeded him in death. He was also preceeded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marjorie Fletcher and Florine Yates; two brothers, Robert L. Waller and Rev. Freeman Waller.

Left to carry his memory are two sisters-in-law, Christene Dixon (Rodney) of Bowling Green, KY, and Nora Barbour of Bonnieville, KY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and community friends also survive.

The family will receive friends from 9:00- 11:00 AM CT on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM CT on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Curle and Rev. Stanford Dixon Officiating. Burial will follow at the Waller Family Cemetery in Bonnieville, KY.
