Thelma (Strange) Esters

Thelma Esters, 82, of Munfordville, KY passed away March 24, 2014 in Horse Cave.  The Edmonson County native was the daughter of the late Clell Strange and the late Ruby Martin Strange.  She was a retired cook for Munfordville Elementary and a member of Cedar Hill United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Marion D. Esters of Munfordville, KY;  three sons, Timmy Esters and wife Lori of Munfordville, KY, Tony Esters and wife Teresa of Cave City, KY and Tracey Esters and wife Ann of Bowling Green, KY;  six brothers, James Strange of Brooks, KY, Elden Strange and wife Carol of Elizabethtown, KY, Harold Strange and wife Julia of Glasgow, KY, Bobby Strange and wife Dorothy of Columbia, KY, David Strange and wife Sandy of Elizabethtown, KY, and Larry Strange and wife Cathy of Campbellsville, KY;  one sister, Nancy Larue and husband Otis of Leitchfield, KY;  seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Creal Strange.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2014 at Cedar Hill United Baptist Church.  The funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2014 at Cedar Hill United Baptist Church with burial in Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.  Arrangements are being handled by Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel.
