Sue (Clemmons) Buckner

Sue (Clemmons) Buckner, age 65, of Canmer, KY passed away at 9:59 PM CT Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born on February 8, 1943. She was employed by Hart County Board Of Education for 28 years as a school teacher with Memorial Elementary and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was the daughter of the late William Edgar Clemmons and the late Alice (James) Clemmons. She was married to the late Billie Joe Buckner. She is survived by One Daughter: Amy Jo Carroll (John Michael) of Canmer, KY; Two Sisters: Eva Poston of Bowling Green, KY; Anna Meunier of Merritt Island, FL; Father-In-Law & Mother-In-Law: William & Marie Buckner of Canmer, KY. She is also survived by one grandson: William Harrison Carroll; One Niece: Leisa Balch; Three Nephews: Mike & Danny Poston, & Marc Meunier; Six Great-Nieces & Great-Nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hart County Public Library. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT Friday, May 16, 2008 and from 10:00 AM to time of service Saturday, May 17, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM CT Saturday, May 17, 2008 with Bro. William Twyman and Bro. Barry Devine officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer, KY.
