Steve D. Carpenter

Steve D. Carpenter, age 47, of Munfordville, KY passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. The Barren County native was born on June 22, 1959. He was a carpenter and construction worker. He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. He was married to Jacueline Carpenter of Hampton, VA. He was the son of the late William Duncan and Selvonia Carpenter of Munfordville, KY. He is also survived by his Daughter: Carrie Russell and her husband Jonathan of Georgetown, KY; Step-Daughter: Kendra Caudill of Kite, KY; Step-Son: Marty Caudill of Kite, KY; Grandmother: Jenetta Clark of Munfordville, KY; Two Sisters: Jennifer Jones and Debra Spurlin both of Munfordville, KY; One Brother: Robert Carpenter of Hampton, VA; One Granddaughter: Autumn Caprice Russell; Two Step-Grandchildren: Kearya Anderson and Kenna Raleigh. He is also survived by two nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Sunday, August 13, 2006 and at Horse Cave First Baptist Church from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM CDT Monday, August 14, 2006. Funeral service will be at Horse Cave First Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CDT Monday, August 14, 2006 with Rev. K. T. Ford and Rev. Hugh Heater officiating. Interment will be at Morning Star Church Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
