Sidney Ritchey Hood, age 69, of Munfordville, KY, passed away 6:48 AM ET Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. The Barren County native was born on March 13, 1939. He was employed as a sewing machine mechanic and was a member of the Cave City Church of God.
He is survived by his wife; Barbara (Kerr) Hood; One Daughter: Wendy Hood, Munfordville, KY.
He is also surivived by Two Grand Children: Kathryn Corey & Karollyna Adams both of Munfordville, KY.

Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT, Monday, December 22, 2008 and from 9:00 AM to time of service Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM CT, Tuesday, December 23, 2008 with Bro. Joe Murphy Jr. & Bro. Earl Miller officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville City Cemetery, Munfordville, KY
