Shirley Murphy Ward Crain

Shirley Murphy Ward Crain, age 78, of Munfordville, KY passed away Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. The Hart County native was born on October 19, 1927 and was a retired clerk with the Hart County Judge. She was a member of Munfordville Community Church. She was the daughter of the late Dewey Murphy and the late Minnie (Gaddis) Murphy. She was the wife of the late Earl T. Crain. She is survived by her Three Daughters: Patsy Puckett & Wilma Wilson both of Munfordville, KY; Sharon (Crain) Sallee of Horse Cave, KY; One Sister: Nora Katherine Walters of Louisville, KY; One Brother: Stanley Murphy of Munfordville, KY; Six grandchildren: Rondell Lee Puckett, Angela Wilson Logsdon, Timothy Ray Ward, Tina Wilson Rosser, Jacquelyn Sallee Hayes, & Daniel Jay Sallee; & Nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Earl T. Crain and her son: Jimmy Ray Ward. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends on Sunday, May 7, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT and on Monday, May 8, 2006 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM CDT and on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 from 9:00 AM until service time. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM CDT with Bro. Danny Sallee officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
