Ruth Peterson Williams

Ruth Williams, age 85, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. She was a retired teacher with the Hart County Board Of Education, member of Munfordville O.E.S.#322, Munfordville First United Methodist Women, former member of Oakwood Homemakers Club and a member of Munfordville First United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Harl Peterson and the late Hilda Axe Peterson and wife of the late Cecil Williams. She is survived by two daughters: Rebecah Stoops (Michael), Lake Zurich, IL, Mary Carolyn Nichols, Washington Court House, OH; three sons: John Williams (Sharon), Munfordville, KY, James T Williams, Naples, FL, Joseph P Williams (Gwendolyn), Horse Cave, KY; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Munfordville First United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be at Munfordville First United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 13, 2011, Bro. Rick Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Old Green River Union Cemetery. Eastern Star service will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Brooks Funeral Home.
