Ruth E. Burdette

Ruth Elaine Burdette, age 85, of Elizabethtown, KY, died Sunday, January 3, 2010, at her residence in Elizabethtown, KY. She was retired from GTE and was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a former member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was the daughter of the late Leo Sigler and the late Genevieve Sigler and wife of the late Fred Burdette. She is also survived by two daughters: Patricia Teodorski, Elizabethtown, KY, Heidi James, Louisville, KY; two sons: Joseph A. Burdette, Hudson, KY, Fritz Burdette, Mapleton, UT; two sisters: Evelyn Rupple, Massilon, OH, Mary Jane Wackerly, Canton, OH; one brother: Thomas Sigler, Canton, OH; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Funeral service will be at St. Benedict Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 6, 2010, Fr. Brian Johnson officiating. Interment will be at St. Benedict Cemetery, Wax, KY.
