Rosemary B. (Bolton) Custer

Rosemary B. Custer, age 76, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015, at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, KY.

She was a graduate from Miami Jackson High School, attended Mars Hill Junior College and a member of Munfordville Baptist Church. She was retired from the Hart County Board of Education at the Hart County High School as Secretary to the Guidance Counselors, pianist/organist at Stanton Memorial Baptist Church (Miami) and Munfordville Baptist Church and also pianist at Munfordville Presbyterian Church. The Miami native was born January 4, 1939 to the late Robert Z. Bolton and the late Iris H. Bolton.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jack Custer; one daughter, Carolyn McDonald and husband James, Evansville, IN; one son, Stephen R. Custer and wife Lara, Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Molly, Ivan, Katie, Will and Lucy; one sister, Jeanie Cagle; one brother, Allan Bolton and wife Barbara, several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 and from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM CT, Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM CT, Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home with Pastor John Smith officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY. The Jack Custer family would like to thank all of the personnel at the "Magnolia Village" for the care and wellbeing of Rosemary while she was a resident.
