Robert E. "Bob" White Jr.

Robert E. “Bob” White Jr., age 79 of Cave City, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a retired letter carrier for the Us Postal Service, he was also a crane operator for Vulcan Detinning in Indiana.

He was the son of the late Robert E. White Sr. and Dorothy Mae Burba White.

He is preceded in death by his son, Robert E. White III; his sister, Anna Sanders; his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Estel Burba.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marcella Goatley White; one daughter, Stanphany A. White, Cave City, KY; one sister, Brenda Tungett, Louisville, KY; one brother-in-law, Clifton Sanders, Ollie, KY; several other extended families also survive.

Honoring the wishes of Bob, the family has chosen cremation and there will be no services scheduled at this time. Brooks Funeral Home is honored to assist with arrangements.
