Robert Thomas Waggoner, age 86, of Munfordville, KY died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Hart County Wednesday, April 11, 2007. The Hart County native was born on June 21, 1920. He was a retired Civil Service employee and a farmer. Mr. Waggoner was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Franklin, KY and served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife Sarah (Eidson) Waggoner of Munfordville, KY; Four Daughters: Carol Jean Muncie of Horse Cave, KY; Mary Alice Thompson of Rowletts, KY; Wanda Kaye Bryant & Ann Margaret Thompson both of Munfordville, KY; One Step-Daughter: Lauren Tuck of Franklin, KY; Two Sons: Roger Lee and Wesley Thomas Waggoner both of Munfordville, KY; One Sister: Nancy Oakley of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Kathleen Taylor Waggoner, a daughter: Cathy Elaine Waggoner; two sons: Eddie & Greg Waggoner; nine sisters and three brothers.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM CDT Friday, April 13, 2007 and at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Franklin KY from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM CDT Saturday, April 14, 2007. Funeral service will be at Pleasant View Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CDT Saturday, April 14, 2007 with Rev. Eddie Bigbee and Rev. Warner Fishback officiating. Interment will be at Morning Star Church Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
