Robert F. Edwards

Robert F. Edwards, age 78, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. He was a retired farmer and of the Methodist Faith. He was the son of the late Henry Edwards and the late Lucy Smith Edwards and husband of the late Frances Jane Sidwell Edwards. He is survived by one daughter: Deborah Faye Perkins (James), Hardyville, KY; two sons: Leonard Edwards, Munfordville, KY, Daryl W. Edwards, Bonnieville, KY; two grandchildren: Merandia Edwards, Heather Edwards; one sister-in-law: Jewel Edwards, Horse Cave, KY; one special niece: Alma Trulock, Munfordville, KY; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Melton and Helen Eva Daniels and three brothers, Cecil G. Edwards, Richard C. Edwards and Russell Edwards. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 15, 2012 and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Templeman officiating. Interment will be at Edwards Family Cemetery, Munfordville, KY. Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
