Robert "Norman" Decker, age 88, of Park City, KY, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was a farmer and retired from Rolco Mfg and was an Army World War II veteran. He was a member of Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He was saved at the age of 23 while in a tobacco patch. He enjoyed making white oak baskets.
He was the son of the late Claudie Decker and late Sally Reams Decker.
He is survived by his wife, Zora Jane Waddell Decker; two sons, Steve Decker and wife Katrina, Bonnieville, KY, Randall Decker and Leonia, Park City, KY; two daughters:, Ann Childress and husband Danny, Boneda Childress and husband Mike, both of Park City, KY; he is also survived by 12 grand children, several great grand children, several great, great grand children and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William Decker; two sisters, Lavaughn Wilson Childress and Audrey Routt as well as two great grand children.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 31, 2014, Bro. Junior Shirley, Bro. Jack Srygler and Bro. Randall Kessinger officiating. Interment in the Little Flock Cemetery.
