Ricky Johnson

Ricky Johnson, age 52, of Horse Cave, KY passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006, at his residence in Horse Cave, KY. The Barren County native was born on December 29, 1954. He was employed by Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems and was a member of Old Blue Springs Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Willie Johnson and Berenisteen (Dixon) Grider of Cleveland, OH. He is survived by his wife Selma (Beauchamp) Johnson; Two Daughters: Lukita Wilson of Indianapolis, IN; Ridda Woodard of Horse Cave, KY; Son: David Ricardo Johnson of Horse Cave, KY; Step-Son: Shawn Beauchamp and his wife Angela of Glasgow, KY; Mother & Step-Father: Berenisteen & Odell Grider of Cleveland, OH; One Sister: Sherry Jewell and her husband Garland of Horse Cave, KY; Four grandchildren; One step-grandchild. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister: Charoletta Faye Davis. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Friday, September 8, 2006 and at Old Blue Springs Baptist Church from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CDT Saturday, September 9, 2006. Funeral service will be at Old Blue Springs Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CDT Saturday, September 9, 2006 with Rev. William Fishback and Rev. Michael Rice officiating. Interment will be at Dixon Cemetery in Horse Cave, KY.
