Richard Thomas “Fish” Sebastion, age 44, of Aurora, IL, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019. He was born August 4, 1975 to the late Tommie Willie Sebastion and the late Dorothy Jean Embry Sebastion. Richard was a very proud and loving father to Qintarius Anthony Thomas Ratcliffe and stepfather. He is survived by four brothers, Robert L. Embry, Horse Cave, KY, Garry R. Embry (Laticha) and Christopher J. Sebastion of Aurora, IL, and Phillip Sebastion, Campbellsville, KY; two sisters, Marona Ann Skillman (Mike) and Peggy L. Smith (George), Horse Cave, KY; his loving and faithful fiancé Rashana Lishman, Aurora, IL; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and stepchildren. He is also survived by life-long friends Clevon Walton, Brandon Bolton, Timothy “Bone” Scott, Tito Dunn, Timus Hope, Michael Simmons, Alex Robinson, and Doran Massie.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, parents and grandparents. Richard worked several jobs; enjoyed being around family and friends; and loved traveling, basketball, baseball, drag racing, fishing, and cracking jokes. He had a great heart and was caring, loving. Even though he didn’t attend church often, he was raised, knew, and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Richard’s laughter and smile will be deeply missed.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Brooks Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. CT on Saturday at the funeral home with interment to follow at Little Barren Baptist Church Cemetery in Sulphur Well, KY.
