Rice Eugene "Tody"

Eugene "Tody" Rice, age 82, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away  Saturday, May 2, 2015, at his home in Horse Cave, KY. He was a member of the Allen Seminary Baptist Church and was a retired Construction worker.

He is the son of the late Joe L. Rice and the late Essie Dice Rice.  He is the husband of the late Lillian Marie Neal Rice.

He is survived by, two daughters, Brenda Rice-Buntyn and husband Stanley, Munfordville, KY and Romona Rice, Rowletts, KY;  seven sons, Kenneth Rice and wife Eunice , Baytown, TX, Terry Rice and wife Kay, Glasgow, KY, Jeffery Rice and wife Exxie, Houston, TX, Charles Rice and wife Mary Ann, Rowletts, KY, Fredrick Rice, Rowletts, KY, Myron Rice, Lexington, KY, Travis Rice and wife Angela, Shelbyville, KY;  two sisters, Alice Rice Shirley, Munfordville, KY, Hattie Gaines, Munfordville, KY.  He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Rice; one brother, Jay Rice; one sister, Verda Rice Thornton

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, May 4, 2015 and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 5, 2015, Rev. Ray Stewart and Rev. Stanford Dixon officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens, Munfordville, KY
