Phillip Lee West
November 25, 1950 — June 23, 2014
Phillip Lee West, age 63, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. He was a retired carpenter and owner of Bacon Creek Cafe.
The Cub Run native was the son of the late Willie D. West and the late Cova Cox West.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Smith West; four daughters, Stephanie Ramsey, Priceville, KY, Diana Michele Myers, Munfordville, KY, Angie Horton, Horse Cave, KY, Jackie West, Cave City, KY; one step daughter, Mindy Walters, Bonnieville, KY; one step son, Christopher Smith, Brandenburg, KY; two brothers, Tam West, Horse Cave, KY, Walford West, Cub Run, KY; seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Darrell, William, Jackie, Paulie West and two sisters, Yvonne Wiles and Brenda Fisher.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Rocky Hill Baptist Church, Munfordville, KY. Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Rocky Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Hank Gibson officiating. Interment will be at Cherry Springs Cemetery, Cub Run, KY.
