Phil Rogers

Phil Rogers, age 66, of Horse Cave, KY, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was retired from the U S Air Force and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Floyd Rogers and the late Bettie Estes Rogers He is also survived by his wife: Peggy Rogers of Horse Cave, KY; four sons: Phillip Rogers (Emily) of Wisconsin, Floyd Rogers of New York, Brince Rogers of Missouri, Michael Woodward, Horse Cave, KY; one sister: Elnora Mitchell, Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren: Thane, Ian, Grace Rogers; three step grandchildren: Marie Galvan, John Galvan, Larry Galvan; one sister-in-law: Becky Paige of Tennessee; one brother-in-law: Henry Hayes Sr. of Cave City, KY; two aunts: Frances A. Brown of Horse Cave, KY, Flora B. Percell of Horse Cave, KY; several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home of Munfordville, KY The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2009 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, July 6, 2009 at Friendship Baptist Church in Horse Cave, Kentucky. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church, Monday, July 6, 2009, Rev. Kendell Ford and Rev. Chris Curry officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
