Patsy Jean Ford, age 64, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away at 6:29 PM CT, Friday, April 10, 2009, at Medical Center at Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY. The Hart County native was born on February 23, 1945. She was a retired sewing machine operator and a member of Woodsonville Baptist Church. She was married to Edward Lee "Cookie" Ford who survives.
She was the daughter of the late James Emmitt Thornton and the late Annie Verda (Ford) Thornton.
She is also survived by her Two Daughters: Nan & Nicole Ford, Horse Cave, KY; Four Sons: Kennan, Kelton "Simon" Ford (Vonnie), & Rev. Kendall Ford, all of Horse Cave, KY; Kelly Ford (Raven), Morehead, KY; One Sister:
Patsy Ann Richardson, Horse Cave, KY; Three Brothers: Emmitt Thornton (Verda), Munfordville, KY; Bobby Ray Thornton, Sr., & Allen Thornton (Ann), all of Louisville, KY.
She is also survived by six grandchildren: Gregory A. J. Ford, Canetra Ford, Kelton "Putt Putt" Ford, Stephon Ford, Haven Ford, & Kaidence Dunagan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: James Coats & Carl Bud Thornton.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT, Monday, April 13, 2009 and Woodsonville Baptist Church from 10:00 AM to time of serviceTuesday, April 14, 2009. Funeral service will be at the church at 1:00 PM, CT Tuesday, April 14, 2009, with Rev. Rodney Richardson & Rev. Kendall Ford officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens, Munfordville, KY.
