Ollie B. Jordan

Ollie B. Jordan, age 83, of Munfordville, KY passed away at 7:55 AM CDT on Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. The Hart County native was born on February 12, 1923 and was a retired inspector with Louisville Bedding Company. She was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church and a former member of Munfordville Homemakers and Womans Club. She was the daughter of the late Roy Tinker and the late Eunice (Phelps) Tinker. She was married to the late J. C. Leonard Jordan. She is survived by: Two Sons: Barry Jordan (Sarah) of Augusta, GA; Danny Jordan (Connie) of Munfordville, KY; Daughter-In-Law-Hazel Jordan of Louisville, KY. Thirteen grandchildren; Fourteen great-grandchildren; Three great-great grandchildren; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: J. C. Leonard Jordan, two sons: Eugene & Virgil Jordan; five sisters: Ida Barbour, Helen Vaughn, Marion Ford, Louise Barbour, & Maudie Tinker. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Sunday, October 8, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM CDT Monday, October 9, 2006. Funeral service will be at Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CDT Monday, October 9, 2006 with Rev. Douglas Barbour officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Gilboa Cemetery in Canmer, KY.
