Norma Rowe Smith

Norma Rowe Smith, age 74, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Kurtie Waddell and the late Damie Meredith Waddell. She is survived by her husband: George Morgan Smith; children: Phyllis Mathis Ward, Munfordville, KY, James R. Mathis, Munfordville, KY, Michael Mathis, Clarkson, KY, Harlan Mathis, Munfordville, KY, David Mathis, Glasgow, KY; step children: Virginia Mary Smith, Benton, KY, Kathleen Ann Martineze, Woodland, CA, Timothy Morgan Smith, Smiths Grove, KY, Michael Andrew Smith, Hardyville, KY; one sister: Zora Decker (Norman), Park City, KY; one sister-in-law: Wilma Waddell, Bonnieville, KY; several grandchildren, step grandchildren, several great grandchildren, step great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Howard, Wilburn and John Waddell and three sisters, ROsie Davis, Minnie Burks and Ora Wilson. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday, May 25, 2012 and from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Junior Shirley and Bro. Jack Srygler officiating. Interment will be at Cherry Springs Cemetery, Cub Run, KY. Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
