Mildred Earnestine Shemwell

Earnestine Shemwell, age 74, of Horse Cave, KY, died Thursday, March 5, 2009, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Rowletts Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Cooper Whitman and the late Minnie Burchett Whitman. She is survived by her husband: Thomas Shemwell: two daughters: Mildred Gass and husband John, Louisville, KY, Rhonda Shelton and husband Denny, Linwood, KY; one son: Ricky Thomas Shemwell and wife Cynthia, Horse Cave, KY; two sisters: Ruth Krowder, Louisville, KY, Lorene Whitescarver, Dayton, OH; two grandchildren: Johnathon Thomas Gass and Andrea Michelle Gray; several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2009, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2009 and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2009. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2009 with Bro. Terry Shelton and Bro. Gary Talley officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY
