Michael Dale Stanton

Michael Dale Stanton, age 39, of Canmer, KY, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was employed by Caveland Enviromental Authority. He was a former Munfordville assistant fire chief and a member of the Church Of God of Prophecy in Hodgenville, KY. He was the son of the late Dale DeVischer and the late Corene Thompson Stanton. He is survived by his wife: Victoria Sydnor Stanton; one daughter: Kennedie Stanton, Canmer, KY; two sons: Lance Stanton, Canmer, KY, Lane Stanton, Canmer, KY; two sisters: Debra Fahrholz, Munfordville, KY; Cheryl Meredith, Cub Run, KY; four brothers: David Fahrholz, Munfordville, KY, Allan Sanders, Cave City, KY, Gary Taylor, Horse Cave, KY, Marcus Taylor, Munfordville, KY; three nieces: Janara Alvey, Rachel & Audrey Sydnor; three nephews: Gary Taylor Jr., Chris Taylor, Hunter Sydner; father & mother-in-law: Elwood & Rebecca Sydnor, Canmer, KY; brother-in-law: Jonathan Sydnor, Canmer, KY. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2011 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 28, 2011. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 28, 2011, Bro. Willie Simpson officiating. Interment will be at Whickerville Cemetery, Hardyville, KY.
