Maybelle Walters

Maybelle Walters, age 67, of Munfordville, KY passed away at 8:06 PM CST Monday, March 26, 2007, at Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Franklin, TN native was born on March 5, 1940. She was a retired supervisor with Louisville Bedding Company and a member of Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Birchell Gragson, Sr. and the late Vivian (Crump) Gragson. She is survived by her husband Garland Walters of Munfordville, KY; One Daughter: Judy Bishop of Minneapolis, MN; Four Sons: Luke Walters of Munfordville, KY; Tony Walters of Sacramento, CA; Gary Walters of Louisville, KY; Dennis Walters of Detroit, MI; One Sister: Janet Clauson of Bonnieville, KY; One Brother: Hardy D. Gragson of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Todd Walters, Amanda Warder, Tyler Bishop, Robert Day, Jessica Walters, Tatum Bishop, Patrick, Zachary, Megan, Wesley & Jenna Walters. Two great-grandchildren: Elizabeth and Ethan Warder. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon's International or to the Hart County Ambulance Service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Sherry S. Day; a sister: Doris Mansfield, & a brother: Birchell Gragson, Jr. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday, March 28, 2007 and from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM CDT Thursday, March 29, 2007. Funeral service will be at Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church at 2:00 PM CDT Thursday, March 29, 2007 with Bro. Gordon McDowell, Bro. Jeremy Atwood, Bro. Lonnie Sheets, Bro. Tim Colovis, & Bro. Howard Srygler officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
