Mary Alvine Stinson

Mary Alvine Stinson, age 83, of Munfordville, KY passed away at 12:40 PM CT Monday, October 27, 2008, at her residence in Munfordville, KY. The Hart County native was born on October 15, 1925. She was a homemaker, farmer and of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late Goodson McKinney and the late Kara (Shaw) McKinney. She was married to the late Ernest Stinson. She is survived by Six Daughters: Linda Dennis (Johnny), Betty Rowlett (Charles), Joyce Wilkerson, & Lois Stinson, all of Munfordville, KY; Judy Walker, Glasgow, KY; Martha Houchens (Kevin), Cave City, KY; & a Granddaughter she raised as a Daughter: Beverly Huff, Munfordville, KY; Four Sons: Bobby Stinson (Linda), & Billy Stinson, all of Cave City, KY; Wayne Stinson, & Mike Stinson, both of Munfordville, KY. She is also survived by 20 Grand Children & 22 Great-Grand Children. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM CT, Wednesday, October 29, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM CT, Thursday, October 30, 2008 & from 9:00 AM to time of service on Friday. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM CT, Friday, October 31, 2008 with Bro. Randall Kessinger officiating. Interment will be in Cosby Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
