Mary Barbour

Mary Alyce Barbour, age 106, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Friday, December 31, 2010, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Allen Seminary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late John Dice and the late Emma Fields Ennis and wife of the late David Henderson Barbour. She is also survived by step daughter: Earlie Barbour Foster (Rev. Charlie Foster) Aurora, IL; ten step grandchilddren, nine step great grandchildren, host of great nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her step-children, David Thomas, Damien Otis, Willie Albert, Cassie May, Mary Elizabeth, Hubert and Alford Barbour. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2011. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2011, Rev. Douglas Barbour and Rev. Stanford Dixon officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Gilboa Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
