Marie F. Murphy

Marie F. Murphy, age 75, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, at her residence in Munfordville, KY. She was a retired cook for Hart County School System, had worked 16 years for Louisville Bedding and a member of Christian Worship Center. She was the daughter of the late Elzy Allen and Marie Logsdon Allen and the wife of the late Stanley Murphy. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Cash and husband Willie, Monticello, KY, Shirley O'Neal and husband Robert, Munfordville, KY; three sisters, Ermine Meadows, Covington, VA, Barbara Messner, Strongsville, OH, Judy Webb, Louisville, KY; two brothers, Virgil Allen and Donald Lee Allen both of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Jennifer Vance, Defries, KY, Nichole Gibson, Cub Run, KY, Allen Cash, Monticello, KY; five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Catron officiating. Interment will be in the Murphy Family Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
