Margie L. Crain

Margie L. Crain, age 87 of Edmonton, KY, formerly of Hart County, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.  She was the wife of the late Hillard Crain and of the Baptist faith.  After retiring from Collis, Inc. as a machine operator, she worked for many years at the Munfordville Dairy Queen restaurant.

Margie is survived by her children, Mary C. Jaggers (Greg) of Summer Shade, KY, and Roy H. Crain (Charlene) of Horse Cave, KY; three grandchildren, Allen Crain Hester, Charles Chuck Crain, and Scott D. Jaggers; one step-grandson, Chris Crain; seven great grandchildren; and one niece, Margaret Sue Steele.

In addition to her husband, Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur “Casey” Spencer and Essie Wells Spencer, and her sister, Mary Edna Goodhue.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 28, 2019, and from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. CT on Monday, July 29, 2019, at Brooks Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be on Monday at 11:00 a.m. CT at the funeral home, with Bro. Paul Hawkins officiating.   Interment will follow at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
