Lovie Lucille Cox

Lovie Lucille Cox, age 88, of Hodgenville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024, at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, Kentucky. She was a member of the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. 

She was the daughter of the late Jessie David Brewer and the late Lucy Ann Jordan Brewer.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Cox; seven siblings, Jessie Lee Barbour, Willie Robert Brewer, Bertha Brewer, Mary Booker, Rosie Hayes, Leonard Houston Brewer, and David Ray Brewer.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia McBride and her husband James, of Henderson, Kentucky; several neices, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. CT on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church in Canmer, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. CT on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church Cemetery.
