Louise A. Close

Louise A. Close, age 75, of Magnolia, KY, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at her residence in Linwood, KY. She was a caregiver and a member of Knoxes Creek Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Avery and the late Vera Crenshaw Avery and wife of the late John Clyde Close. She is also survived by two daughters: Marina J. Berry, Munfordville, KY, Pamela J. Babb, Springfield , OH; two sons: Russell Berry, Jr., Linwood, KY, Daniel L. Berry, Canmer, KY; two sisters: Lois Rigdon, Munfordville, KY, Carolyn Dill, Canmer, KY; five brothers: Darrell Avery, Idaho, Donald Avery, Dallas, TX, Melvin Avery, Salem, IN, Claude Avery, Summersville, KY, Roger Avery, Munfordville, KY; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 18, 2010 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday, March 19, 2010. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 19, 2010. Interment will be at Knoxes Creek Cemetery, Magnolia, KY.
