Lorine (Brooks) Caswell

Lorine Brooks Caswell, age 82, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at her residence in Horse Cave, KY. She was a homemaker and attended Faith Independent Church. She was the daughter of the late Virgil Brooks and the late Dessie Newton Brooks and wife of the late Clay Dean Caswell.

She is survived by five daughters, Shirley Childress and husband Vincent, Horse Cave, KY, Sharon Wilkerson and husband Tim, Munfordville, KY, Judy Reynolds and husband Mark, Munfordville, KY, Melinda Druen and husband Ryan, Munfordville, KY, Regina Burd, Horse Cave, KY; five sons, Billy Caswell and wife Brenda, Munfordville, KY, Gary Caswell and wife Debbie, Munfordville, KY, Anthony Caswell and wife Bonnie, Horse Cave, KY, Mark Caswell, Munfordville, KY, Tim Caswell, Horse Cave, KY; three sisters, Ruby Elmore, Cave City, KY, Linda Sweet and husband Kenny, Canmer, KY, Brenda Blair and husband David, Munfordville, KY; three brothers, Alvie Brooks and wife Shirley, Indianapolis, IN, Roger Brooks and wife Carolyn, Cave City, KY, Bill Brooks and wife Wanda, Munfordville, KY; seventeen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; special friend, Frances Harvey, Cave City, KY.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ecil and Clarence Brooks.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM CT, Sunday, May 8, 2016 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT, Monday, May 9, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, May 9, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Lindell Sexton officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
