Lora Lee McCorkle

Lora Lee McCorkle, Age 59 of Munfordville, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She was a member of Leitchfield Crossing Church and a former employee of IGA in Munfordville. She enjoyed planting flowers and was a great mom to three fur babies.

She is the daughter of the late Robert Shirley and the late Nellie McIntosh Shirley.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Buford and James; one sister, Margaret.

She is survived by her fiance, Micah Hiser, Munfordville, KY; five children, Jeremiah Lamb, Cub Run, KY, Alicia Millea, Greensburg, KY, Kegan Perkins, Bowling Green, KY, Shelby Perkins, Mt. Juliet, TN, and Bobbi Jo McCorkle (Jacob Foster), Bonnieville, KY; two grandchildren, Kaydence Perkins and Luci Rose Sanders; seven brothers, Raymond, Jim, Elbert, Mike, Benny, Joe, and Richie; two sisters, Carol and Willya. 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-8:00 PM CT on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 and again from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM CT on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will held at 1:00 PM CT on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Benningfield officiating. Burial will follow in Houk Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers the family requestes donations be made to Brooks Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
