Lonnie E Barbour

Lonnie E Barbour, age 60 of Kokomo, IN, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Mr. Barbour was retired from the Chrysler Casting Plant of Kokomo, Indiana and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late Floyd Barbour and the late Louise Barbour Embry.

Survivors include his companion, Mildred Scott, Kokomo, IN; two daughters:  Shaneeka Daniels and husband Omar, Kokomo, IN and Andrea Barbour, Old Hickory, TN.; two sons: William Wallace, Louisville, KY and Christopher Barbour, Kokomo, IN;  three sisters: Shirley Thompson and husband Robert, Canmer, KY,  Eunice Barbour, Louisville, KY and Remona Barbour, Louisville, KY.; five brothers: James Barbour and wife Sarah, Louisville, KY, Wayne Barbour, Louisville, KY, Rev. Douglas Barbour and wife Maggie, Canmer, KY, Joe Barbour and wife Mary Jo, Swayzee, IN, Tony Barbour and wife Deborah, Indianapolis, IN.; two step sisters: Wanda Dye and husband Robert, Bowling Green, KY, Phyllis Embry, Munfordville, KY; one step brother, Anthony Embry, Radcliff, KY; a sister-in-law, Vickie Barbour, Florence, KY; eight grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Willie and Chester Barbour and a sister-in-law, Sandy Barbour.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home.  The funeral will be at 1:00 PM CT, Wednesday June 22, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home with interment at Mt. Gilboa Church Cemetery.
