Lillian Martin

Lillian Martin, age 94, of Hardyville, KY, passed away at 7:45 AM ET Friday, December 19, 2008, at Kensington Manor in Elizabethtown, KY. The Hart County native was born on August 11, 1914. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late D. H. Forbes and the late Sally (Despain) Forbes. She was married to the late Cecil Martin. She is survived by Three Daughters: Erma Melloan, Hardyville, KY; Carolyn Pinkham & Mary Ann Crain, both of Elizabethtown, KY; Three Sons: C. F. Martin & Garland "Pete" Martin, both of Hardyville, KY; and Robert "Bobby" Martin, Canmer, KY. She is also survived by Eleven Grand Children and Six Great-Grand Children. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT, Saturday, December 20, 2008 and from 11:00 AM to time of service Sunday, December 21, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM CT, Sunday, December 21, 2008 with Bro. Marty Edwards officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
